MSC’s Select Program attracts top competitive players from around the area. The teams are registered to compete in either the South East Classic League, State League or Midwest Regional League Play. Our professional select staff is comprised of high level, experienced coaches, several of which are current/former college players and/or high school coaches. All are licensed at the appropriate level for the teams to which they are assigned. MSC strongly encourages, supports, and hosts WYSA coaching clinics throughout the calendar year. Players are expected to attend all training sessions, games, and tournaments, as outlined below.

Additional Training Opportunities

SWAT

SWAT (Solo Work and Assisted Training) is run by a professional skills coach and other staff coaches, providing flexibility in training and exposure to multiple coaches. This program helps avoid burnout from over-training while giving players a new perspective on their game play and technical skills.

SSAC

SSAC (Strength, Speed, Agility and Conditioning) is designed to strengthen the players as whole athletes. Quick drills are run to improve player endurance and foster flexibility.

Goalkeeper

Goalkeeper training is provided weekly in 30 minute sessions. Current and prospective keepers attend to fine tune their skills and develop a better tactical understanding of their position.

Fees

Club

These fees include coach salaries, game uniforms, a training jersey, referee fees, state registration and insurance, field maintenance, and administrative fees. Club fees are to be paid during the online registration process, with the option of two 50% installment payments, the second of which is due in early 2024.

  • $1,200 for the entire 2023-2024 season (Fall, Winter, Spring)

  • Tournaments: $100–$300. These fees are collected by teams throughout the year depending on the number/locations of tournaments selected by the coaches.
