Coaching Philosophy: “I promote player development through individual skill building, tactics, and team concepts. I encourage learning through a supportive, fun, and purposeful environment. I challenge all players to improve from their own beginning level. I foster team unity by creating strong communication with both parents and players. I believe in educating the parents as well so that they may also enjoy the greatest game ever invented.”

Ryan Bailey

Playing Experience:  4 year letter winner Wauwatosa West High School, senior captain current player MSC Majors.
Coaching Experience:  MSC U14 Maroon coach 1 year, MSC staff coach 2 years.  JV girls coach Wauwatosa West 3 years, JV boys coach Wauwatosa West 3 years, boys varsity assistant coach Wauwatosa West 1 year, girls varsity assistant coach Wauwatosa West 3 years, head coach boys varsity Wauwatosa West 3 years.
I have been coaching soccer since I was 18 years old. I started coaching Mikro Soccer for two years as a site coordinator before I moved to MSC. I have been coaching at MSC for the past 8 years. I have been a staff coach as well as a select coach. I just completed my fourth season with my u14 girls team in which we moved up each year in leagues and most recently won our current league this spring. I am looking forward to taking a new group of u11s to work with!
I am also the current head varsity boys and girls soccer coach at Tosa West High School. I began as a JV coach, moved up to varsity assistant before taking over both programs. At West in 10 total seasons as head coach, we have won conference three times and finished no worse than third.
I love being able to work with all age groups because it has made me evolve as a coach as well as challenge myself to find new ways to train boys and girls of different ages.

Coaching Philosophy:
I believe it is critical to concentrate and hone players’ technical skills on a daily basis. These technical skills drive tactical decision making and makes a youth soccer player successful. Small games at training encompass both of these items, technical and tactical, and allows a player to improve their personal skill and decision making to help develop team shape and progress. Soccer players need to be technically proficient, so that they can be tactically effective on game day. Hard work at training surely pays off on match day.
